Guidelines for Authors

 

1. Aims and Scope

The journal publishes high quality original research, reviews, short communications, case studies, and perspectives in the fields of health sciences, medical sciences, life sciences, allied sciences, and integrative healthcare systems.

 

2. Types of Articles

  • Original Research Articles (4,000–7,000 words)
  • Review Articles (6,000–10,000 words)
  • Case Reports / Case Studies (2,500–4,000 words)
 

3. Submission Declaration

Submission of an article implies that:

  • The work has not been published previously
  • It is not under consideration elsewhere
  • All authors have approved the manuscript
  • Ethical standards and publishing integrity are maintained
 

4. Manuscript Preparation

4.1 General Formatting

  • File format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line spacing: Double spaced
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
  • Page numbers: Bottom right

4.2 Structure of Manuscript

Title Page:

  • Concise and informative title
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Corresponding author details (email, ORCID optional)

Abstract:

  • 150–250 words
  • Structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) where applicable

Keywords:

  • 4–6 keywords
  • Avoid words already used in the title

4.3 Main Text (IMRaD Format):

  • Introduction – Background, rationale, objectives
  • Materials and Methods – Study design, materials, procedures, statistics
  • Results – Clear, concise, supported by tables/figures
  • Discussion – Interpretation, comparison with literature, limitations
  • Conclusion – Key findings and implications
  • Future Directions
  • References
 

5. Tables and Figures

  • Tables: Editable format, numbered consecutively
  • Figures: High resolution (300 dpi minimum)
  • Captions: Provided separately
  • Duplication: Avoid duplication of data in text and figures
 

6. Units, Symbols, and Abbreviations

  • Use SI units
  • Define abbreviations at first mention
  • Use standard scientific symbols
 

7. References (Vancouver Style)

In text Citation:
Numbered in square brackets: [1], [2–4]

Reference List Examples:

  • Journal Article: Author(s). Title. Journal Name. Year;Volume(Issue):Pages.
  • Book: Author(s). Book Title. Edition. Publisher; Year.
  • Book Chapter: Author(s). Chapter title. In: Editor(s), editors. Book Title. Publisher; Year. p. xx–xx.
 

8. Ethical Standards

Human and Animal Studies:

  • Approval from Institutional Ethics Committee mandatory
  • Informed consent required

Clinical Trials:

  • Trial registration number must be provided
 

9. Conflict of Interest

Authors must declare any financial or personal relationships that could influence the work.

 

10. Funding Statement

All funding sources must be clearly disclosed.

 

11. Authorship Contribution (CRediT)

  • Conceptualization, Methodology, Data curation, Writing (draft/review).
 

12. Plagiarism Policy

  • Plagiarism threshold: ≤10–15% (excluding references)
  • Manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software
 

13. Peer Review Process

  • Double blind peer review
  • At least two independent reviewers
  • Editorial decision: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject
 

14. Open Access Policy

  • Articles published under open access model
  • Authors retain copyright with licensing terms
