Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

The Journal of Health Synapse (JHS) is committed to the principles of open-access publishing by providing immediate, unrestricted, and permanent access to all published research articles, review articles, case reports and case series. All articles are freely available online to academicians, researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, policymakers, students, and the general public worldwide without subscription or access fees, thereby promoting the global dissemination and exchange of scientific knowledge.

All articles published in JHS are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. This licence permits anyone to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, reuse, adapt, and build upon the published work for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the licence is provided, and any changes made are clearly indicated.

To support editorial management, peer review coordination, copyediting, typesetting, online publication, digital archiving, website maintenance, and long-term preservation of published content, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable. The APC is ₹2,500 for authors from India and USD 26.07 for international authors.

The APC is charged only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication. There are no submission charges, and payment of the APC does not influence the editorial decision, which is based solely on the scientific quality, originality, and ethical standards of the submitted manuscript.
