Plagiarism Policy

Journal of Health Synapse (JHS) is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism in any form, including text, data, figures, and ideas. All submissions to Journal of Health Synapse (JHS) must be original works of the authors and must reflect honest and accurate scholarship. Proper acknowledgment and citation of the work of others are mandatory to ensure transparency and academic honesty.

 

Originality

Manuscripts submitted to Journal of Health Synapse (JHS) must be the author’s own original work. Submissions must not have been published previously or under consideration elsewhere.

 

Proper Citation

All ideas, data, and text borrowed from other sources must be properly cited and referenced according to the journal’s citation guidelines.

 

Plagiarism Detection

Journal of Health Synapse (JHS) uses industry-standard detection tools (such as Turnitin / iThenticate) to screen all submitted manuscripts prior to peer review. The overall manuscript similarity index must be less than 10% (excluding references and standard methodology quotes). Any manuscript exceeding this threshold or found to contain uncredited text overlap will face immediate desk rejection.

 

Consequences

Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, may result in rejection of the manuscript, notification to the author’s institution, and permanent banning from future submissions.

 

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for properly citing all sources.
